Central Plains Ag Services

Who we are

Central Plains Ag Services began operations in August 2009 as a full-service crop input provider. Though we’re relatively new as an organization, we draw on the long and successful history of our founding partners, CHS, Inc. and West Central Ag Services. We’ve also built on the tradition of service established by the agriculture retailers in Aneta, Cooperstown, Courtenay, and McVille that have come together to form Central Plains Ag Services.

We immediately established our position as a top supplier of agronomy services and crop inputs with the completion of our Hannaford fertilizer hub in October 2009.

The addition of an additional 14,000 tons of storage capacity this summer brings our total capacity to 40,000 tons. We provide agronomy products and services through our five locations, with over 40 full-time and nearly 20 seasonal employees serving farmers in east central North Dakota.

With the addition of our Courtenay location in August 2011, Central Plains Ag entered the grain business. In 2012 we completed our 2.8-million-bushel shuttle loading facility in Hannaford.

Finally, we offer a top-quality portfolio of financing options. Our in-house financial services specialist works with you to understand your operation, so that we can tailor a program that precisely fits the way you farm while maintaining the confidentiality of your financial information.
